Photo Effects (Lite) App Reviews

The app barely has any effects you can use and they are all cheesy, and if you do find something you like the app randomly shuts down.

Made my computer crash twice. Each time after opening. It looked like fun, until my screen froze and distorted. Was removed.

Can not exit the app can only minimize. Very frustrating. Not worh it

I love this app, and it doesnt crash on my computer. I use it all the time.

The application runs very slow and occasionally I have to force quit the application because it freezes up.

Not as bad as everyone thinks! Never crashed on my MacBook Pro, and it has very cool effects! Some effects were copied from Photo Booth (e.g light tunnel, bulge). Very fun app to use. Lets you capture and image from your webcam or drag a drop a picture from the finder. Highly recommended if you like messing with pictures!

Aside from this app constantly crashing, it was okay. For the small amount of time I was able to use this app before it crashed, the effects were okay. For those complaining that the effects are stupid...what do you expect, its a free app, that is like expecting a cheap point and shoot camera to have the same amount of shooting options and image quality as a DSLR camera. If anyone is thinking about downloading this app, try it. If it keeps crashing, delete it and if it works, then keep it. Its not hard to download or delete an app.

My computer never crashed probably because I removed it after using it only 10 minutes. The preset edits are tacky and do not allow any manual adjustments.

This program is horiable it made my macbook pro lock up where i had to do a hard re boot apple should not have this on there downloads absoultey horriable !!!!! i would not recomened this app to anyone

Although Ive had no problems with this app, it would be nice if you can do a few more things within the app. But its basic and easy to use!

Waste of time, cant handle any photo larger than 3MB. Total computer freeze, which isnt easy on a Mac.

This app has an issue with larger images! If you try editing a picture straight out of a good camera it will be slow for sure and possibly lock up. Smaller images have no problem. Some of the effects are neat and others are cheesy. Also some effects give some control over the look and others dont. Good app for free but I wouldnt pay for it and not impressed enough to get their other apps.

The interface is too clunky and there is not much you can do with the effects provided. Gonna remove this app.
